CORCOVADO: San Pedrillo Station From Sierpe
Leaving from Terraba – Sierpe wetland, sailing in a fast boat 40 minutes through the riparian forest and mangrove forest where we can observe some fauna. Then we meet the ocean and sail for 40 more minutes, in which you could see some species of sea turtle, dolphins or whales (depending on the season). Visit the San Pedrillo Station, where you will walk for 3 to 3 and a half hours in search of wildlife with the help of a local bilingual guide with experience in the field of nature. From the meeting point to the place where we start the activity you have to travel 15 minutes by 4×4 car. If you have transportation, you can come with your own transportation. Birding And Photography Experience In Sierpe
Costa Rica has 12 Ramsar sites or Wetlands of global importance Sierpe River is one of the important rivers that form this great delta. The activity takes place in Sierpe River throughout its basin. Like for example: -Yellow-billed Cotinga -Mangrove warbler -mangrove hummingbird The previous three species have a close relationship with the mangrove.
