Detailed Itinerary: Corcovado Overnight Tour
Day 1 – Arrival and Deep Forest Exploration
We start the day with a scenic boat ride from Drake Bay to the Sirena Station entrance.
- Arrival & Check-in: Upon landing, guests complete the registration process before a short walk to the ranger station where you’ll securely store your luggage.
- Morning Guided Hike: Our first guided trek begins, lasting approximately until 12:00 p.m. We focus on areas rich in wildlife activity near the station.
- Lunch & Rest: Enjoy a well-deserved lunch at the station, followed by a short break.
- Afternoon Guided Hike: At 2:30 p.m., we set out on our second major hike of the day, exploring different trails until our return around 6:00 p.m.
- Dinner & Relaxation: Dinner is served in the evening, followed by time to relax and recharge for an early start.
Please note: Night hikes are not permitted inside Corcovado National Park. All guests must return to the station by 6:00 p.m.
Day 2 – Sunrise Wildlife & Departure
This is when the park’s wildlife is often most active!
- Sunrise Wildlife Walk: Our second day begins early with a short, exhilarating sunrise hike starting at 5:00 a.m. This is an incredible time for tapir and cat sightings!
- Breakfast: We return around 6:30 a.m. for a hearty breakfast.
- Final Morning Hike: After a brief rest, we head out once more at 8:00 a.m. for our final guided hike, lasting approximately three hours.
- Lunch & Departure Prep: We return to the station around 11:00 a.m. for lunch, then prepare for our journey back.
- Departure: At 12:45 p.m., we walk to the designated pickup point where the boat will take us on a scenic return trip to Drake Bay.
