Terms and Conditions of Service – Isaac Pérez Acuña

1. Service Description

My name is Isaac Pérez Acuña, and I am a certified independent tour guide. Through the guidescr.com platform, I offer my guide services in Costa Rica. The tours and activities I offer are described on my profile. My certification and credentials are: 117410259.

2. Booking and Payment

Reservations for my services are managed exclusively through the guidescr.com platform. Payment is made securely via PayPal, directly to my account. By making a reservation and payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

I understand that plans can change. My cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation more than 144 hours in advance: 100% full refund on the cost of the Mangrove Tour From Drake Bay, Birdwatching In Drake Bay, Night Walk In Drake Bay and Whale And Dolphin Watching From Drake Bay. 70% refund on the tour to San Pedrillo Station from Drake Bay, Cano Island From Drake Bay, Daytime Sirena Station From Drake Bay and Overnight At Sirena Station From Drake Bay.
  • Cancellation between 144 and 72 hours in advance: A 50% refund of the tour cost.
  • Cancellation less than 72 hours in advance or no-show: No refund will be issued.

In the event that I, as the guide, am forced to cancel a tour for any reason (e.g., emergency, extreme weather conditions), you will be offered a full refund or a reschedule of the service if possible.

4. Client Obligations and Responsibility

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience, the Client agrees to:

  • Be punctual at the agreed-upon meeting point.
  • Follow the safety instructions and recommendations I, as the guide, provide during the tour.
  • Inform me in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect your participation in the tour.
  • Respect the flora, fauna, and natural environment of Costa Rica.

5. Limitation of Liability

As an independent guide, I am committed to offering my services with the utmost diligence and professionalism. However, I am not responsible for:

  • Injuries, damages, or loss of personal belongings that may occur during the tour, unless they are a result of my gross negligence.
  • Delays, changes, or cancellations of activities due to circumstances beyond my control, such as extreme weather conditions, traffic issues, trail closures, or unforeseen events.

6. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute or claim arising from the provision of my services will be resolved in the competent courts of Costa Rica.

7. Client Consent

By booking and paying for my services, the Client declares to have read, understood, and accepted all the terms and conditions described herein.
